A radiant force of spiritual storytelling, The Divine Pathway emerges as the 16th breathtaking creation in the Follow Me Collection by Artist Gregory Michael Maness. This mixed-media canvas is more than visual—it’s a soul’s ascent captured in form, color, and sacred intention.

At its core, this piece was birthed from eight layers of superheated Cabernet Sauvignon wine-paint, uniquely crafted and applied by the artist himself. When the studio dropped to a frigid 10 degrees overnight, an unrepeatable crackled surface emerged—like frozen grace. This divine imperfection became the perfect canvas for layering aerosol sky bursts and splashes of pink metallic paint, each element adding symbolic depth and eternal motion. Each crack of imperfection in the wine paint represents our own fractured imperfections.

Twin angels frame the heavens above, watching as a sculptural image of Christ with open arms beckons souls home. Embedded within Him are the biblical chapters of sacrifice and resurrection, made visible through the translucent design—a Savior who carries the story of salvation in His very form.

A pink stone tear, radiant above Christ’s head, reflects the metallic beauty that runs throughout the canvas. A golden yellow beam of heavenly light cuts through the piece, surrounded by dozens of crosses in wood, glass, and metal—each a symbol of a life rising to eternal rest.

Anchoring the piece, a “Faith Over Fear” badge and the commanding “Put on the full Armor of God” statement proclaim the message of spiritual readiness. A silver heart and a “Warrior” emblem drive home the identity of every soul called upward.

Sealed with twelve coats of Artist’s High Gloss Clear Aerosol Enamel, this work glows with divine permanence—a celestial shield of protection and polish that magnifies its texture and luminosity.
